Ryland Early is a professional ballet dancer with Boulder Ballet. After receiving his training at San Francisco Ballet School and Academy of Ballet in San Francisco, Ryland has danced with Houston Ballet 2, Ballet West, Nevada Ballet Theater, and Ballet Arizona. Some of his favorite roles onstage have been Albrecht in Giselle, the lead in Rubies, and the choreography of Amy Seiwert, Braeden Barnes, Daniel Marshalsay and Robert Dekkers. He has set choreography on the dancers of Nevada Ballet Theater and Boulder Ballet, winning an in-house choreography competition at Boulder Ballet with his piece “Divided We Fall.”
Ryland is also an accomplished ballet instructor, having previously taught for CanDance Studios, Master Ballet Academy and Club Dance in Arizona. He currently runs the ballet program for Michelle Latimer Dance Academy in Denver, Colorado, a nationally renowned competition school. His students have gone on to dance for Ballet Arizona, Ballet Minnesota, the Arizona Rattlers Cheerleaders, with others dancing at Juilliard, Chapman University, University of Utah, Oklahoma City University, and Loyola Marymount University.
He created and produced the Ballet Elasticity app for Android and iPhone, featuring exercises created and used by the world-class staff at Master Ballet Academy. This popular app has educated dancers all over the world on proper strengthening and stretching techniques.
